Because this will be our 90th Anniversary, we are going to do a season of favorites, based on the survey that was distributed to our patrons in May.  The board has narrowed it down to a "Top 12" list of shows, curated from a survey with 1,504 show votes from 151 enthusiastic patrons.  You can select shows from this list that you are interested in directing OR you can also propose a “wild card” from any show we've produced in the past 90 years!  Here is the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1clEPifvasL08EPSuFXH82N4kq1nDfrNKBg-UgHjuv8Y/edit?usp=sharing

The top 12 list includes (in no particular order): Inherit the Wind, Arsenic & Old Lace, Wait Until Dark, Lend Me a Tenor, Blithe Spirit, The Foreigner, The Lion in Winter, You Can't Take it With You, 12 Angry Jurors, The Crucible, Same Time, Next Year, and Radium Girls.

 

Our goal is to present a season celebrating moments from our history as we go forward.  Ultimately, we encourage directors to submit shows they are passionate about and who are able to bring new vision to classic shows.

 

Interested directors must submit an application, theatrical resume and scripts (if necessary) for proposed shows by August 4, 2025.   The application can be found and completed at the link below.  Resumes and scripts can be uploaded to this form as well.

 

By early August, applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview with the Artistic Committee. Interviews will take place in mid-August.  All applicants will be interviewed.

 

We encourage directors from diverse backgrounds to apply as we actively seek to represent and promote the many insights, opinions and talents of our diverse artistic community.

 

Each production runs for three weeks, consisting of 13 performances. The rehearsal process is roughly six weeks prior to opening. Our season slots are September, November, January, March, May, and July.  We have already selected the show and director for our November slot.
